The brewers at New Level love classic German pilsners almost as much as they love Milkshake IPAs. It was only a matter of time until they came up with the idea of putting lactose into a traditional pilsner. Brewed with Pilsner malt, Saaz hops, and high-minerality water much like the German tradition, but with just a touch of lactose for a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a hint of residual sweetness. We originally came up with this beer as a way of teasing some friends that were involved in the Cicerone program. But it ended up so delicious that even the beer puritans had to admit they liked it too!
